Joe has a Doctorate, from Charles Sturt University, a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Melbourne and holds a Diploma of Assessment and Training Systems from the National Business Institute.
He is currently a Director of Spencer Sterling Pty Ltd, working with International businesses to develop Organisational capability frameworks, capability in Governance, Policy, Strategy and Leadership.
He has a had a broad experience and held senior positions as The Director Executive Education – Victoria University, Regional Editor for an International Journal of Emergency Management, Director of CGM International Pty Ltd (Management Consultancy), Director of HR, Learning and Business Development – Australasian Fire Authorities Council, Director of Education and Training for Melbourne Fire and Emergency Services Board, as well as lecturing in a number of post graduate programs in Governance, leadership Strategy and business Policy, Innovation and entrepreneurship and stakeholder management.
